The main materials are ash and walnut for the furniture, stainless steel for the kitchen counter and the bathroom floor. The walls were done in anodized aluminium, from where the indirect light behind the furniture bounced into the room. The air circulation was solved with a heat exchanger behind perforated skirting boards and around the sofa and the bed. They also serve as acoustic panels. Storage behind doors, flaps and drawers are hidden behind the ash fronts and under the bed. The long stainless steel kitchen worktop, the timber decking floor and a free view between the sofa and the bed gives it a generous feeling in this rather small space. It’s essentially a seamless furniture in the size of a studio flat.
